Princess Sarah Recounts

Princess Sarah
by Bella

Princess Sarah came two Fridays ago and we drew a portrait of her.  She was wearing two rings on her fingers.  It was nerve-racking for me.  When we finished doing the portrait, we added a frame to put the picture in it then we put it on the wall in the classroom by the door.  Now when we come in the door we see pictures on the wall.  Then she left us and flew away with her shimmering unicorns. I liked her coming here because she told us about her tower that day when she came.

Princess Sarah’s Visit

Some Friday’s ago, Princess Sarah visited, but it was just Matilda’s mum Sarah. First we got a piece of paper and a special pen. We all started once we got the paper and pen.
I started with Sarah’s head, hair and tiara. I hated doing the face because it looked like a pig face squashed up. Then I did the ruffles on my Mum’s peach coloured dress. After that I did the sash and the little brooch, it was shaped as the letter J. I carried on with the dress.
I had hated doing the feet because I made them too small. I only put three toes on.
It was so disappointing that it wasn’t a real princess but it was fun.

One day Princess Sarah came in. All of the class had to draw her. It was going to be so hard. I got out my kneeling table and started to draw. It took sooooooo long to draw her. She looked so pretty I just had to touch her dress. It was stunning to see a real princess. Maybe princesses aren’t so strict after all.

When Princess Sarah rode her unicorn I could feel dust from the magic handbag. She was sprinkling it. When she came in I was shocked and thought to myself is that a real princess and why did she come?
When Prince James came he played with the Mobilo. When we sat on the mat the teacher said “everybody, today we are going to do a portrait of Princess Sarah”. So we got a piece of paper and a pencil and then we started. When we were done, Princess Sarah went away on her unicorn. When she left I felt sad and I hope she comes back someday.

Two Friday’s ago, Princess Sarah came into our classroom. We had to draw a portrait of her. I made lots of mistakes. I realised that Princess Sarah was actually only Matilda’s mum. On her hand bag she had diamonds that sparkled like stars. Her handbag was as gold as golden money.
She had three rings on her fingers. One was as green as our green highlighters. Her sash was as blue as our uniform. Her hand bag was also as gold as the frames on our portraits. When we finished we put them on the wall.
I hoped that we wouldn’t have to do it again because I’m a terrible drawer, but I didn’t give up. When Princess Sarah (Matilda’s mum) left, little speckles of fairy dust were drifting down as slowly as turtles giving eachother a high five. Then she disappeared from sight. I saw her again the next day but she was back to normal.

Princess Sarah Visited Room 7

On Friday it was a special day.  We had a special visitor. Before she came I was so excited. I couldn’t wait.  I wanted to scream. When she came in she was so tall and pretty.  She had a beautiful long dress.  I liked everything on her, especially her jewellery. It was so shiny. I like her shoes. They were beautiful.  We drew her portrait. It was fun.  When we drew Princess Sarah I had to look really carefully.  Princess Sarah came by unicorn.  She was beautiful like my teacher. We have a special visit everyday.  It is our teacher, she is beautiful too.  Princess Sarah said she has many tiara. I want to see all her tiaras she has and all her jewellery and dresses.  Princess Sarah came like a shiny sun coming into Room seven.  The crown was as shiny as a royal crystal.  The dress looked like silver and gold.  Her high heels looked like a golden shoe.  She was tall like a mountain.  When she was gone, everyone was still talking about her.

On Friday Princess Sarah came to Nayland Primary School for an observational drawing. My Canning let Pam down, so Pam sent to minions, Bella and Fiona, to get Princess Sarah.
Princess Sarah wore a white silky dress with a blue sash from her left shoulder down and back around to her shoulder. On the sash there was a brooch made of diamonds and metal. She also had a gold handbag and it had little diamonds scattered everywhere.
When I started to draw the portrait it was new for me to draw a royal. Princess Sarah had to stand for awhile.
A few days after, room seven made frames with gold paint and pastel. New they are on the wall by the back door. They look awesome and I liked doing the portrait of Princess Sarah.

On last week, Friday, Princess Sarah visited us. We drew Princess Sarah and I am terrible at drawings! Oh I forgot to tell you, she is 30 years old. She was wearing a pretty dress and it looked like it was sparkling with glitter. Other people were drawing and I was nervous that their pictures were better than mine. Once that was done, my picture was really ugly. The hands were all messed up. My picture was bad. I felt kind of proud of what I did.

Sarah’s Visit

A couple of days ago Princess Sarah came to visit room 7. Before she arrived we were all thinking who is Princess Sarah? What does she look like? But then she just turned out to be Matilda’s mum. We had to draw her portrait for like half an hour, seriously, we’re not servants! After that we had to make our own frames, really even more servant stuff! Sarah’s not even a real princess so she shouldn’t even have slaves! Yeah yeah, sorry about all the rage I just wanted you all to know the truth. She had a peachy dress and heaps of jewellery. Lastly pageboy James flew the Unicorns back to the castle to have a massage with Aqueous cream and Champagne for a drink with lemon. Then the portraits of Sarah sparkled in their golden frames. We decorated the frames with white and grey pastel. Then Sarah was gone for good. I really hope she can come back sometime, it was an amazing experience meeting her.

Two Fridays ago Princess Sarah came over to visit our class. She was very tall like Jack and the beanstalk, and she was very beautiful. She rode her unicorns over here and her lovely prince came. He was very charming and her purse, oh her purse was spectacular. It was golden with Diamonds. Her dress was beautiful. After Princess Sarah had gone we made frames with grey and white pastels. It was so amazing and so much fun. I felt that we were the luckiest class ever.

When Princess Sarah came on Friday.  She got lost on the court.  So Pam sent her minions to go get her.
She came so we could sketch her.  All of the sketches should be beautiful just like Princess Sarah because she had diamond earrings in her.
She had bangles on her bracelets.  Pam said have we all drawn a picture in our minds.  "Yes Pam" we all said.  Now it was time to draw Princess Sarah.
The sketches looked beautiful just like I imagined after all.  I think everyone knew it was Matilda's mum Sarah.  A few weeks latter all did our frames for the sketches.
The frames looked so fancy and beautiful.  Also for the frames we used grey and white pastels.
I like the portrait of Princess Sarah.

One day Princess Sarah can to room 7 .  We had to draw Princess Sarah.  It was so hard work, but I did it.  When we finished we got free time yay.
Princess Sarah was tall and had a pretty dress.  Princess Sarah has diamonds on her wallet.  It was very shiny I thought it was amazing.
I also really liked Princess Sarah's lovely high heels.  On Princess Sarah's head there was a tiara it was pretty.
On her finger she had three different rings, they were very fragile and cool (But anyway) Finally we all made awesome gold frames the next day.
We did sliver and white pastels on the gold paint, only when it was dry you had to very carefully glue the gold frame on to your picture.
Luckily Pam helped me.  Yay, I was done.

Last Friday Princess Sarah came so we could draw her.
Before Sarah came we got annoyed with Mr Canning because he did not take Princess Sarah to our Class so we had to sent Fiona and Bella H to get Sarah.
Sarah came in her beautiful dress.  Sarah came to Nayland by her magic unicorns.
Prince James stared the unicorns her.  When the unicorns flew above us fairy dust came drifting down.
The beautiful dress was Rory's mum's peach coloured dress.  Her tiara was the colour of the ocean glimmering on the sun.
It was so fun I wish we could do it again.

  2. Such wonderfully talented storytellers in Room 7! I especially loved the extra-special mentions from Bao Tram about Pam. You're obviously loved, Pam! :)
