First Aide Training

Today we had Kathryn from St Johns teaching us about first aide. We covered things like bleeding, blisters, bee stings and burns. We also had to use our problem solving skills in groups to work out what to do if someone was having health problems while we were out tramping.

Weetbix Tryathlon

Speech Finals

Josh's represented our class at the Moana Speech Finals.  His speech was about bullying and he gained first place.




Isla's speech was about why New Zealand is a great place to live.

Special Jump Jam

 Brett Fairweather visited our school today for a special Jump Jam session.  Brett was the first ever double World Aerobic Champion and eight time New Zealand Aerobic Champion. He is also the creator of JUMP JAM & Jiggle Jam programmes so he taught us two new dances.

Suter Art Gallery

These are the materials and equipment we used to make the clay santas.



We drew designs and patterns from around the gallery to decorate the Santa hats.

Esther is demonstrating the first steps.

The two Bellas are using a rolling pin, with two pencils as guides, to roll out slabs of clay.

We lay the slabs over sushi dishes to get the right shape.


Everyone added features and texture to make the Santa face,
